All versions of the game "Space Rangers" includes a function of output configuration data in text format. Run this command:Rangers.exe extractcfgAfter loading game in the folder "\cfg" files are created:
1. main_e.txt - customize the interface and data resources;
2. Files language modules "lang_e.txt" - depending on the settings in the file "install.txt" in the section "Lang {}":
Rus_e.txt - connecting the Russian language (from rus.dat);
Eng_e.txt - connecting the English language (from eng.dat);
Pol_e.txt - connecting the Polish language (from pol.dat);
etc.
Note.
"_e" - means "extract".
You can edit the configuration files and build new files (".dat") loaded by game.Run this command:Rangers.exe buildcfgRequirements:
1. To rename the file "main_e.txt" on the "main.txt" (will create new files "main.dat" and "CacheData.dat");
2. Create folder derivative on name of the language module and copy the file there "lang_e.txt" renaming it to "main.txt":
cfg/Rus/main.txt (Rus_e.txt) - connecting the Russian language (new rus.dat);
cfg/Eng/main.txt (Eng_e.txt) - connecting the English language (new eng.dat);
cfg/Pol/main.txt (Pol_e.txt) - connecting the Polish language (new pol.dat);
etc.
Note.
Existing files ".dat" will be deleted (replaced), but not file "robots.dat". Do not forget to make a backup of these files.

Program "SRDatToTxt" allows you to extract data from the running game (only the russian version of the executable file rangers.exe) and configuration files (up to version 1.3) in a group of text files and supports an integrated copy data from one language to another. You can synchronize data from any source. Includes language files in uncompressed format ".dat" version of SR2 2.0 "Reboot" (English and Russian). Currently only supported language modules.
Instruction:
1. Load a file for changes - button "Open DAT"
2. Load your changed file for synchronisation - button "Compare"
3. Select the node from a tree (on the screen both will be shown).
4. Press the button "^^" - copying data in the main tree.
